The Color of Honor

The Color of Honor: Asian-American Peace Officers explores the trials and triumphs of Asian-Americans in America’s law enforcement field. The Color of Honor features strong male and female characters including some pioneers who forged a path for later generations in the field. Using archival materials from the 1930s onward, gritty, action-packed footage of officers training and working today, and compelling interviews with officers of Laotian, Filipina, Chinese, and other backgrounds, The Color of Honor follows in the footsteps of such high-quality PBS documentaries as Taking the Heat: The First Women Firefighters of New York City, and Coming Out Under Fire in documenting and presenting under-explored stories of diverse Americans working in different areas of public safety. The Color of Honor is a 60-minute documentary film produced by Christina Lim and a committee of peace officers for national public television broadcast. Chris Million is the director of photography and Holly Million is the fundraising consultant for The Color of Honor.
(Now in pre-production).
