It Came From Kuchar It Came From Kuchar tells the story of George
Kuchar, a pioneering member of the 1960s New York Underground film
scene who became a film godfather to many successful mainstream directors.
The film features interviews with well-known directors John Waters,
Atom Egoyan, and Todd Solondz — as well as dimmer lights in the
trash-film firmament who owe a huge debt to George Kuchar. It Came
from Kuchar follows in the footsteps of such highly successful
documentaries as Crumb and American Splendor which
created ambitious yet fully realized portraits of colorful social misfits
and edgy, fringe artists who rocked the larger cultural milieu. It
Came from Kuchar is a 90-minute documentary film by Jennifer Kroot
and Tigerlily Pictures for national theatrical distribution and television
broadcast. Chris Million is the director of photography and Holly Million
is the producer for It Came From Kuchar. For more details,
